Learn to Become an Accomplished Corporate Animal!
Horses have endured for thousands of years by relying on a keen sense of awareness of their surroundings. As a social animal, horses exist within the community of a herd complete with its own specific hierarchy, defined much like that of a corporate organizational environment. A horse is very clear about what its intentions are because the survival of the entire herd depends on this commitment and honesty. Interaction within the horse's "herd philosophy" caters to the core concepts needed to succeed in the workplace.
The horse's natural instincts of self-preservation and congruency (measure of consistency between intent and action) make them incredibly responsive to the actions or motives that humans display either directly or indirectly. You don't have to be a horseman to participate or benefit from this work. In fact, most of our clients have very little if any previous experience with horses. The workshop fundamentals address communication techniques and team/leadership disciplines through a series of non-threatening ground exercises with the horses.
What I hear I forget, what I see I remember, what I do I understand
At Spring Reins of Hope (SROH) we offer corporations a selection of workshops that are results oriented and completely anchored on experiential or "action learning" - training method offers a return-on-investment that develops new insights with regard to creative thinking and problem solving skills to better implement your organization's BHAGS (Big Hairy Audacious Goals).
Together, we will work to uncover the patterns that are impeding the growth of healthy strategic relationships - your foundation for success in the marketplace. With each corporate client Spring Reins of Hope holds an initial consultation/screening where we can learn about your organization, and its unique needs. Next we create a customized set of exercises with the horses that will target the specific areas you wish to improve upon based on your company's culture, values and goals.
Each of the SROH Corporate Animal exercises are formatted as a combination of hands-on exploratory exercises with horses followed by guided discussions to allow participants the opportunity to experience, observe, and think about how attitude, body language and motives impact what we communicate and thus the results we get in return.
In developing a partnership with intuitive animals to carry out specific tasks you will gain clarity about: compromising, goal setting, working through fears, effective communication, effective teamwork, and how to create better synergy for mutually beneficial outcomes and relationships.
The three (3) main SROH Corporate Animal workshops are:
- Truth in Teamwork:
Are You Being Herd?
Workshop focused on experiential action-learning for team building skills, leadership identity, group dynamics and equality.
- Alpha Leaders: Adopt Styles from the Stallion or the Mare? You Need to Learn the Difference, the How, the Why, and the Where
Complete assessment of leadership skills and styles, resource management, delegation, responsibility and accountability. This workshop is not about gender diversity but rather the value of different styles that are successful and why. Stallions lead the herd very differently than Mares do, yet both integral and essential for the success and survival of the whole herd.
- What Are Your Hidden Tails?
Using scientific biofeedback measurements - a study on somatic body language, congruence, hidden agendas and how this knowledge can effect the work environment, colleagues, negotiations and presentations.
We also offer additional workshops on Career Reinvention, Presentation / Performance Anxiety and a special workshop to help with the executive hiring process called Round-Up Interview, for more information please see Adjunct EAL Services.
